Tufts alum Kathryn Sulzner promotes improved integration and better training of veterinary professionals into the field of conservation medicine and ecosystem health. She encourages collaboration with wildlife biologists and ecologists to identify newly emerging zoonotic diseases and work together to restore ailing ecosystems. While ecovet serves to connect and assist those in the veterinary community who share an interest in conservation medicine, it encourages the veterinary profession and members of the wildlife community to share their knowledge with the public and volunteer their skills and time to help conservation projects worldwide.
